Familiar…..or fresh?
Family…..or fantasy?
Catherine is an unprecedented exploration of the pleasures and horrors of love. As Vincent, a man recently succumbed to the irresistible beauty of the game’s titular diversion players find themselves swept into a treacherous love triangle. Catherine’s core themes—those of free will, of the delicate nature of relationships and the choices we make within them, marry perfectly with the intense, terror-filled gameplay that serves to accurately reflect Vincent’s growing sense of anxiety. It is an experience wholly unlike any to come before it.
Story synopsis:
In the neighbourhood in which Vincent lives, there have recently been a number of bizarre incidents in which people die in their sleep with a look of anguish upon their faces. Strangely enough, all of the victims are young men. The story quickly spreads throughout the media, attracting widespread attention and theories as to the cause of death. A strange rumour begins to spread that if a person dreams of falling, then they must wake up soon or they will be unable to wake at all and die.
Vincent likes his girlfriend. Katherine’s pretty, smart, and successful. Trouble is, she’s starting to talk about long-term commitment, something Vincent’s spent his entire life avoiding. Since romantic complications are the last thing he wants to deal with, Vincent meets his friends for their regular night of drinks. Little does he know that he’s about to be blindsided by a beautiful, seductive, irresistible freight train named Catherine. Suddenly, he’s hung over in bed next to the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen, unsure about the previous night’s events. Was it just making out, he wonders, or did something more serious happen between them? Should he tell Katherine? Will he ever see Catherine again? Vincent’s about to find that a stumble on the staircase of love can turn into a horrific, fatal plummet…
check out the trailer in the next post
well well well the 3ds (sigh) lets just continue
To keep this short I’m going to do pros and con then finally the verdict.
Pros
The 3ds it’s self is a great (idea for a) console the whole the 3d effects bring more diverseity to gameplay and other things such.Thr thought of having a front and back facing camera is pretty cool and being able to take pictures in 3d is a great plus. Now the graphics this baby can put out is outstanding to put in simple terms it clearly rivals the ps2 you know what it is actually better and thats saying something coming from a portalable product.Next would be the new and improved eshop which allows you to buy games from all pervious game boys and some nes games as well.Lastly would be the use of only one friend code that means you won’t have to type in friend codes all the time when you want to play difrent games with friends.
Cons
The 1st flaw would have to be for me and alot of people I know is the launch titles.I mean come on if your gonna release a new console you gotta have some strong titles to draw some fans.Nintendo came with some kind of battle ships game I beilive it was called steel diver or something, piolt wings, dead or alive 3d,and super street fight IV 3d.In my opinion only like two of those games were good enough to buy and those were street fighter and dead or alive. But I’m not saying those are the only games that came out so far those are the only ones you can buy on day 1.
Next would be the lack of a proper online community……(sigh) come on now we are still using friend codes nintendo you gotta step it up.Its not like there are even playable online games other than pokemon which leads us to our next 2 conswhich are horrible internet and no online access for orginal ds games (pokemon for that case).Okay no lie I’m not a fan of the newly announced ps vita but It was a pretty smart move by sony to get with at&t to get some 3g connection even when they head outside. But teh 3ds only works online when your at home if nintedo was a bit more practical the should get themselfs some good online stability and atleast a good batch of playable online titles.
The verdict
Ok after some thinking I have come up with the verdict of this console. The 3ds has a good line up for the holiday season and 2012 including games like mario 3ds which look actually promising, star fox 3ds,zelda 3ds(not Oot),smash bros 3ds which can also be connected to smash bros wii u for excluse content, and many more but now good games are very limited. The feature are cool including the 3d which greatly inproves the graphics but will make you a bit dizzy after a while and burns out the batterey life quickly. The newly addition of netflix greatly improves this consoles appeal but you got netflix at home and on your phones is it really needed on the 3ds(the movies are not in 3d).
The 3ds is a must buy for any nintendo fan or avid gamer but as of now I must say pass cause knowing nintendo they would most likely release a newer and more updated version of it and plus you should wait till later this year or early 2012 when there’s a got batch of games ripe for the pick.
Thank you for reading and have a fine day!

Well comic con is coming next week this year I seem a bit more exited about.I well wouldn’t call it exitment I just looking for some new info on certain stuff.Mostly this statment from capcom saying they will have some “fantastic information” regarding marvel vs capcom 3.They seem to be stressing the word fantastic I’m really hoping it is not dlc for the fantastic four cause really hate the…..all!!
Hopefully it is some dlc for the game since it was a serious let down compared to mvc 2.From a roster of I beilive 60 characters to a slim 30 is a big let down to core fans. Also the currentt roster is a bit lame..oh look at me getting off topic.Comic con this year has to be big in my opinion since the downfall of good telovision programs are now slim to none comic con must deliver some good conten to keep fans intrested in tv.yes yes netflix is good but it is mostly older movies and shows thats people watch and thats not good for the current entertainment industry cause if the lame show from tv now comes on netflix it will be filled with nonsense like teen mom and jersey shore (not saying everyone hates those show) just saing that if the entertainment industrie doesn’t shape up it could be heading for a major decline so at comic con I’m hoping to see some quality tv programs.

Beck is easily one of my top 5 favorite shows/anime.I’m pretty sure I blogged this before but I’m not completely sure. This anime follows Koyuki,a regular 14-year-old boy who enters junior high school with two childhood acquaintances. One is a pervert, and ironically the other is a highly sought after female student. Koyuki’s boring life is changed when he saves an odd-looking dog, named Beck, from some kids. Beck’s owner turns out to be an emerging rock musician, Ryusuke Minami, who soon influences Koyuki to start playing the guitar, and even gives one to him. The story focuses on the trials and tribulations of their rock band named BECK, and Koyuki’s relationships with the members of the band, in particular Ryûsuke Minami and his sister, Maho Minami.
characters
koyuki

The main character; the series follows his rapid development from living an average life to becoming an outstanding guitarist. He is the fourth member recruited into BECK, playing rhythm guitar and singing slower songs. He also seems like a person that doesn’t know much about life. I like how the creator made this character he is someone I can really relate to in the sense that no one really gets him but the small group he hangs with.
Ryusuke

A slacker, but incredibly talented guitarist, he inspires Koyuki to begin playing guitar. He is the lead guitarist of BECK as well as its founding member. A large amount of the story revolves around him and his gibson les paul guitar, named Prudence that has a somewhat dark history. He also played a fender stratocaster while jamming with his influence John Lee Davis.
maho

Maho is Ryusuke’s younger sister and a talented singer. She is brash but emotionally fragile, and gradually builds a romantic relationship with Koyuki.
taira

BECK’s bassist, Taira is the first member recruited by Ryusuke. Although he can sometimes seem uncaring or apathetic, he is actually the most mature of the band members and often offers helpful advice. He usually performs shirtless, much like the character he is based on: Flea of RHCP.
saku

Saku is BECK’s drummer and last member to join apart from Koyuki. He and Koyuki are good friends and classmates; Saku was the first person to talk to Koyuki after school bullies impose a school-wide silent treatment.
chiba

The main vocalist for BECK, Chiba’s vocals are more punk- and rap-oriented than Koyuki’s and thus more fitting for the majority of Beck’s songs. Chiba’s inclusion in the band was that originally during a baseball game early in the series it was brought to Ryusuke’s attention that he was a vocalist with a great presence on stage.
It’s a great show so give it a watch!!

About a week age stussy unveils a collection of graphic T-shirts in collaboration with marvel comic, released in two parts, the first half of the collection features prints from vintage comic covers and rare collectors’ posters from the 1960s-90s, and the second, hitting shops on May 6, sees nine artists from legendary LA tattooist Mr. Cartoon and New York graffitist Todd James to British cartoon luminaries David Shrigley and James Jarvis pay tribute to a Marvel character of their choice.
sounds familiar it zeldas lullaby sneaked by nintendo if you play the gdc trailer backwards it will be revealed maybe this game will tie into the ocarina of time story a bit more I might by this game now
Here’s a topic of discussion we haven’t opened for awhile, and given the confirmation of skyward sword as the first game in the timeline, before even Ocarina of Time it’s one that I think is long overdue. There are probably as many theories about how the series’ overarching storyline progresses as there are fans, but I want to focus mostly on the core questions: what order do you think the games fall in and how do you fill in the gaps in the story?
I’ve had a number of interesting timeline debates over the months/years and they’ve produced a number of major theories. I’ll try to briefly outline the notable ones:
“The miyamoto timeline is law”
Around the end of 2008, there was a movement within zelda theorizing to start incorporating all kinds of information that was previously discarded. Among this information was the infamous “Miyamoto Order.” First mentioned in ‘98, this was a reported statement Miyamoto made in an interview about the timeline order as of ocarina of time. The statement defied expectations by putting the legend of zelda and its direct sequel, adventure of link, in-between ocarina of time and a link to the past - previously the conventional wisdom said that a link to the past was originally designed as a prequel and ocarina as yet another prequel. Pretty much the entire theorizing community denied its veracity based on the idea that Miyamoto simply doesn’t know what he’s talking about since he doesn’t care about the series storyline or something like that.
Yet I’ve talked to a few gamers via real life and youtube and they had a good deffense to the theory. The theory draws heavily from the fact that the Triforce was split up in ocarina of time and argues that adventure of link is the bridge game that reunites it so that Ganon can make his wish in a link to the past. .
you understand doubt it.
Of course, I eventually found another statement from around the same time that appeared in untranslated form and actually revealed that a link to the past was indeed meant to precede the legend of zelda, so all this work is now pretty outdated. Nonetheless, now people are a lot less prone to say miyamoto simply doesn’t know what he’s talking about - at least when it comes to the recently-uncovered quote - so I wouldn’t say it was entirely fruitless… miyamoto stated but I the guy talks in riddles so don’t try to figure what he’s saying out.
”The games are legends based on the same core ideas”
This theory was popular for awhile in the 90s and around the release of the wind waker, but it didn’t really get much representation on the web. It’s pretty basic: because the games rarely bear actual plot relationships to one another, it’s likely that they’re all just stories about Link, Hyrule, the Triforce, and Ganon that are based somewhat off of a core mythology. No need to speculate how all the games fit together; they’re all retellings of the same core hero tale.which kinda makes sense since it is called legend of zelda keyword legend.
“There is no timeline!!!”
arguments all over stat that even though Miyamoto and Aonuma have both mentioned a document that lines out the way all of the games connect, it’s probable that it wouldn’t exactly answer all the questions of the series in the way anyone expects it to. All right, so given Nintendo’s rather loose approach to chronology in most of the games this actually does sound pretty plausible, but outside of a few bad days when it seems like there’s no solid solution, is there any zelda fan that really believes this?
I’m pretty sure I don’t just saying.
“The timeline itself is a myth”
I came up with an idea of my own: the games are literally to be taken as stated in the title ”legends,” but there is still an overarching story that all of them belong to. So they connect, but because they’re “legends” they don’t have to connect in a perfect or exclusive way. This would explain some of the creative licenses taken for example in ocarina of time’s treatment of the Imprisoning War, where the Triforce splits instead of falling in its entirety into Ganon’s hands. Also, as legends, it’s possible for there to be multiple stories that branch off of a single origin point - hence why Ocarina of Time is officially seen as the prequel to three games when the “split timeline” story device only accounts for two of them.
to put it simple when you do all that jumping through time thats when the story starts to change cause when going forward and backwards I doubt the the end result stays the same…….get it?
